Heat embossing vellum
For a lace type effect, stamp flourishes along the edge of a sheet of vellum...use either versamark or coloured ink....sprinkle over embossing powder - clear over coloured ink or coloured powder over versamark - then heat as per usual........the vellum will buckle and bend when heated..but will flatten on cooling....trim close to the flourishes on the outside edge to achieve the effect....try white powder on white vellum or matching powder colours on matching vellum tints....have fun

Re: Heat embossing vellum
Heather I am going to be very honest here, I have never ever tried Embossing powder, but keep thinking. I'll get the stuff next time I go shopping but tend to always restock stuff, or stick with stuff I am comfortable with. But you have convinced me to stop putting this product off and now will really invest in it all and everything involved
Thanx for all the awsome tips and techniques really great to get some different ideas to work with

HTH...with any questions...I love the stuff....both clear and coloured....benefit of clear powder is it sets quicker than DM but with the same effect
