Dry embossing ribbons

Choose a wide ribbon, grosgrain types work well...either coat the ribbon in starch - available from the supermarket laundy section - or Dimensional Magic..(tip...cover a smaller cutting mat or board in cling wrap...the DM doesn't tend to stick the ribbon to your board)..allow to dry...usually 24 hrs....when dry, insert into embossing folder and run through your selected machine. the starch/DM holds the texture and adds a great border accent to your pages or cards..
