im trying to start a collage LO of DH and DD3. But cant seem to get it going. Any ideas, they are in the shower. the colours in the photo are cream, and light blue and brown. so i was hoping to use a few scraps of cream , brown and dark blue. But just cant make it look good. gonna have a look at one of debs, that got published and try get some inspiration. Tina - I sponged ink around the edge of the backing paper, like you said and have inked and distressed the edge of the photo too. So I am taking on board some of your tips you emailed me I love you

Maybe cut different sized drop shapes from all three colours and put it on a black background, and have the drop's cascading down like rain or in a daigonal angel....and then work in a title and journaling...I don't know...lol, thats just what I got of the top of my head. Smile

Well I am working on a lay-out that is absolutely driving me crazy I just can't seem to make anything work for the theme I am doing...it's very frustrating...None of my alpha's are working for it and none of my embellies including flowers are just going with it....I have been working or trying to work with it all day...just can't get it...
Might have to be one of those that you leave for a day or two before going back to it.... Very Happy

yeah I am working on some cybercrop challenges lots of fun...lol It worked out perfectly actually. The first challenge was to make an OTP thing and it had to be made out of something lying around your house so I grabbed an old wine bottle and decorated it up really nicely....then I realized that I had Nicoles b-day today and I had forgotten about a gift...so I filled the botlle with m&m's and gave it to her as a gift...lol. She loved it

Oh I remember when I went away for a week over christmas OMG I came back with all these ideas I was loaded...as they say...I think sometimes we need to have even just a two day break here and there because like your saying you can get stuck and things start to look all the same...I think you will come back and get annoyed with what you've started and then re start every thing again...thats what I did..lol

Yeah I know what you mean...lol Sometimes I find that a day away is all I need to get some new ideas flowing and the brain waves creating...lol. I know when I am doing the workshops for scrappy days and then doing the lo's as well for the monthly hand in's, I have to really try and think about things differently.... scratch so that I can get some variety of techniques and styles...lol
