Have a great time PAP (sorry to shorten your name)... It should be interesting staying with people you have never met before!
I started to packup some stuff yesterday... And the best thing it is making me organise some of my huge mess!

I can just imagine that phatassphairy....LOL...you unpack your stuff to find all your scrapstuff available but no clothes to wear LOLOL. Then you'll need to 'scrap' yourself with the latest SassyLassy (ie SassafrasLass) papers and ...um....embellies! lol!

I'm getting a 'buzz' from all this scrap retreat talk ladies. Feel I'm missing out...boohoo. Remember to think of us when you go and take LOTS of photographic evidence. Buzzy x

yep i get that ...and i don't mind at all ...so feel free .....

and bumble bee for my first retreat ...i literally got a milo tin (hid it from every body tongue )and at the very least, put $30 a week away ...if i got money for birthdays or won $2 bucks on a scratchie ...all went into the tin .......did this about 9months b4 hand ...and i had paid for the retreat, estimated fuel costs, food / munchies on the road (i think it was about $15 bucks a stop allowing 6stops {3 each way)...and still had $600 bucks to spend while i was at the retreat ..........i even glued the lid down with well bond industrial glue ...so once it went in ...it couldn't be dipped into .....

for this year retreat ....i just keeped my whole pay from each week from the last 8weeks of working last year ...cause i knew that i was becoming a SAHM from this year .....and we are just trying to juggle the budget around my DH wage this year to try and keep it that way. But i am already trying to think of ways i can make a bit of pocket money at the monthly markets ...and it will all go to a retreat next year ....cause i am starting another tin in feb ....once i get over the back to school costs ...

and seriously ...start doing it now ..even if you do not know a retreat that you would like to go on yet ..so when a retreat pops up next year you are on your way

Yep Sammi! That's a great idea for putting it all away for later. Well done to you for being that organised to save for your trip. I'm hoping an Adelaide trip might be on for next year......fingers crossed. x

My biggest dream is to open a place where crops can run and have a kids playground too with playleaders. It is not always easy for mums to get away from the little kids and go to these things!

well our house is on 25 acres so theres heaps of room for kids Wink
