Poppet swap

is anyone interested in doing a poppet swap

for those who are not sure what a poppet is .......here is one that i have done

now here is how it will work .....

we will make groups of 5

and you will send out 4 pics and recieve 4 in the mail ......do up what ever sort of poppet you like on an A4 bit of card stock of thicker patterned paper ...and send it back to the owner .....then when you get your poppet you mount it onto 12x12 paper........then post them in the gallery saying who you did your poppet ......

now anyone in???

yeah have to give us the heads up, never done anything like this before! but i'm sure i will get the hang of it ...........eventually..LOL!

woohoo so when do we start this....I am going to the post office sometime tomorrow......lol....so what do i need to send how many photo's...

lol..we need another 2 people ......and i reckon 4 weeks to get it done

mmmmm! that should be fun with the other 30 or so lo's i have to do for the 60th album.........and by saying that i'm not joking.....LOL! oh hell it will give me a break in between! haha! damn this addictive hobbie LOL!

ok does it have to be certain photo's or any type of photo's and if there is five people 4 photo's have i missed something or do you know something i don't.......LOL!

ok.... i will give it til the sunday night and if we haven't got 2 more people the 3 of use will do it .......

now here is how it is done .......
you send one of your pics to each person on the list ....it should have mainly a head shot in it ......
last time i sent out 4 different pics ...it doesn't have to be the same pic

you then turn it into a poppet .... when you have recieved it, .....it can be anything you like .....any sort of animated / cartoon type picture ......to any theme ......

you mount it on an A4 card stock ...and

you have 4 weeks to have it completed and back out in the post

OK here is what we are now going to do

pm your postal address to each other

post out a pic that can have the back ground cut off it

add a couple of hints about the person or relevance of the pic

IE ...a birthday or graduation .....or when i send a pic of my son
i will put that he likes rugby league, fishing, boxing, bmx, or cooking
these are just to help with an idea ....no point in doing up poppet with a golfing theme ...if that person doesn't play golf IYKWIM
