I have a question - can the snowflakes or flowers be something else - like maybe buttons or fabric or something???

Haven't ever done a sketch so I might try this one out.....

Ummm...i don't think fbric would do...but maybe button clustors or something it's just the snowflake/flower space is quite significant to the lay-out...but go for it it...maybe you could evem make flowers out of fabric and buttons....i would be very interested in seeing that Wink

I was thinking of trying Anthea's idea of making circles with the wool stitching around the outside or even flowers (she did it on a page called Lolly Pop) - I think I saw it on Scrapaloot. Been wanting to try it ever since.....

Well I don't know if I did it justice but I had a crack at the sketch! I could have done a girly LO but went for a boy one instead. and I don't do swirls real good with a boy LO so I modified it a little!

Well I am now having a go too as the sketch looks fabulous. I'm struggling with it as I made part of mine all fuzzy and fluffy LOL and I need to stick a chippy title on top of the fluffy stuff. So the challenge for me is to get the stuff stuck down. I'm failing, so I've gone ballistic with the stapler instead, although I'm yet to do the title. (I might need a stud gun for this part! Very Happy)

PS I love how you've interpreted this sketch Arby. Gorgeous idea for a boy layout.
