NEW CONTEST - STARS OF SCRAP

Here at Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia we are looking for the STARS OF SCRAP...is that you?

The Major Prize Winner receives $3000 in prizes plus an exclusive 6 month contract at Scrapbooking Top 50 to conduct Online Classes, with an option for another 6 months. The Winner will be paid for doing each class over the contracted period.

There will be Three Runners Up who will each receive a $1000 in prizes plus an option of a 3 month contract to conduct Online Classes exclusively here at Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia. And for their time and effort in doing such classes they will receive a set commission for each class.

Five Honourable Mentions will each receive $250 in prizes.

Ten random entries will receive a $60 Subscription Voucher to their favourite magazine. This is not limited to only Scrapbooking Magazines.

Twenty random entries will be given a choice in receiving a $20 Voucher from such nationwide stores as Sanity, Big W, and Kmart.

We are hoping everyone will have a go at this and for that extra incentive One Runner Up and Two Honourable Mentions will be reserved for an 'Undiscovered New Talent', artists that have never had their work published, never been on a Design Team, or never taught an Online Class before. With this Competition we want to support not only the fabulous talent on display but the up and coming stars of tomorrow.

There will be an entry fee of $10 but considering there is $8000 in Prize Money up for grabs, it's an investment well spent.

During the next 2 months there will be challenges and random draws where we will be giving people a chance to win a Free Entry into the competition so be sure to keep checking Scrapbooking Top 50 Australia for such events.

In the coming weeks the TASKS for this Competition will be set. Original layouts will not need to be sent. Clear photocopies or entries formatted onto a CD will be all that is necessary, saving you postage. Keep in mind all entries will be returned to you after judging is completed.

WOW Sounds like a huge competition. I think you will b e overwhelmed by entries. Good luck to all those that decide to participate. I think I will sit this one out, I get to overwhelmed by the amazing talent pool we have here in Australia.

what a comp ...that is going to be huge .... i am scared to enter something that big ...very intimidating or what!!!.....but i will have a peek at it ...and just aim for the stars ......i was so ber-jiggerty with the olympic challenges ...but oh well i guess if i don't land near the stars i will get caught by my own life's rainbow.. .so nothing to loose ...and great little bonuses to gain.....

I realise how some people may feel a little overwhelmed at this contest. With this competition everyone has an equal chance, not just the established talent but the up and coming stars of tomorrow - and that could be YOU.

If the teaching Online Classes is a little overwhelming than we can work out an agreement where you create layouts for others, like Tina here, to teach, as I realise not everyone may like the teaching concept.

I don't think I'll join in on this - this forum is enough for me to keep up with! I'm already suffering from an internet addiction with this forum, Facebook, Bebo and a few random others taking up all my time. I think I'm starting to neglect my kids!!! LMAO

LOL LG i know what you mean... im an internet junkie... i have to check in each day... im amazed anything ever gets done around my house lol

lol...yep another net junkie here i do my "rounds" as i call them at least 3, 4 maybe 10 times a day....lol....but yeah it is amazing how much you are able to do and still keep up with your on-line world....like my house has bad days...but generally it's pretty much kept as tidy as possible with the two little ones...lol....scrapping ATM is suffereing but not because lack of time ...just lack of mojo....gym I am also doing daily... Kiddies get me in the mornings for a couple of hours and the arvos the same thing straight after their sleep.....
Everything just sorta works out in the end no -matter whats going on or needs to be done....lol....
