Re: Those precious little beings in our lives...
yeah well i tried reasoning, then tried understanding in the sense of figuring out why she doesn't want to go to bed....realised she's testing me so decided to get angry that didn't work...as it never does ...lol...then i have just found that talking to her for about 10 minutes but remaining firm on the topic of too bad your going to sleep ...is what is working....lol

Re: Those precious little beings in our lives...
Well I have an almost 3 year old Natalie...who, at the moment, is being so good...about Christmas time last year and for about 2-3 months she became like an alien...tantrums, couldn't go anywhere with her for fear of massive tantrums..looking at her now you would never believe it. I am waiting for the next phased though. She is just beautiful at the moment.
I am also pregnant with our second, which we found out is another girl (secretly I am really glad, because I know what to do with girls LOL). And Lou, like you the first 4 months has been hell (I am 21 weeks now). I was in and out of hospital 6 times with severe vomiting and dehydration...and it was NOT fun!!!
Even now I am still not 100% and feel like vomiting occassionally. I had it with Natti too, but not as sever as this time round. I lost so much weight that they were getting really worried, but I am making up for it now, I just can't stop eating LOL...especially mashed potato and beef! I hate being pregnant because ithas me down and out for so long...can't wait for the last trimester...the best part for me!

Re: Those precious little beings in our lives...
When we had to cut Natti's hair (we just could not brush it) on boxing day last year I just could not bring myself to do it and my MIL had to take over. She was only meant to take of a cm or 2...instead she took off about 4 inches!!!
I cried for ages! Now Natti's hair is getting nice and long again and my MIL says "maybe time for another hair cut?" and I just shot back "over my dead body!!!!!!!" LOL.

Re: Those precious little beings in our lives...
lmao....i wouldn't let anybody except a hair dresser do my girls hair...lol..After i had trimmed Cody's hair last time she grabbed the scissors off my scrap table and cut a huge chunck out of the front of her hair.....so she comes out to me and says ....look mum i look pretty...see.......aaaarrrgggg....I was so spewing because her natural fringe had just been grown out...I had to try and make it straight and work with her hair....lol...i mamaged it...but I had to start all over with, the whole hair in her eyes thing....very frustrating.....i am scared to give her scissors agian....lol.

Yeah, I remember that...he really did have gorgeous hair didn't he. So glad I have no boys and Daniel can't do that...he is actually getting very good at doing girls hairstyles...gotta watch him though or she might end up with something weird happening in her hair...it's the MIL I gotta watch!

don't you just love when the bubby wakes up and they wrap their arms and legs around you and snuggle their little head in your neck and make cute little noises!
