changing the subject a bit here...

When we first got married is when I started scrapping and about a month or 2 after the wedding I had managed to unknowingly clock up over $600 of scrapping products in 2 weeks...Daniel checked the bank account and added it all up, I had no idea I had spent that much...anyway, the look on his face and the disappointment in his eyes (we had no money, only centrelink and his army reserve money)...then he quietly just said "I am going to pay the rent" and walked out without another word...I was devastated...I thought he was going to divorce me right then and there, so I hid in the walk in rob behnd the clothes and cried. He didn't come back for over an hour to look for me...needless to say it all worked out in the end, we are still together and have Natti and Angi on the way now. Spending money on scrapping supplies is still a major form of contention between us, so I try very hard not to spend heaps (at least not all at once anyway).

So my tip for staying together...don't spend all the money, especially if there is nothing to spend in the first place LOL.

well my DH is off to work tomorrow ....and he knows that i am like a lost puppy dog for at least 3 days after he is gone ...........so he tries to leave me a suprise around the house for me to find ......it usually takes me a few days ......but i think that is a really sweet thing for him to do ......esp cause we been together 20years this dec.......and i never thought i would say it ...but i miss his snoring soooo much it is now almost (((and i did say almost)) a twisted sweet pleasure to hear it again ....

My DH works away on the oil and gas drilling rigs - he is 2 weeks away then 2 weeks home. He left yesterday for his 2 week stint away. But he left me with two sick children - high temperatures and bad headaches! We will just soldier on!

yeah i am blessed ......and we have only ever had 4 arguements in that time ......lol..he is a big tattooed fella ......but he doesn't believe in yelling and he sort believes that being agressive is very distasteful especially for a woman (((not sure why he married me ...lol))).....which is a good thing cause i don't often go off ...but when i do look out ...he he he he ...and he reckons the first thing he learnt in married life was what ever makes you happy my darling makes me happy .....lol..(cause i think he knows i will bung on or mental mess with planting the seed so he thinks it is his idea...that i will get what i want anyway ....lol)))

Suse, wow what a spend!

when it comes to money and scrapping, he is more then happy for me to go shopping, so long as I dont hit him up for it. We both have our hobbies, mine is Scrapbooking, and his is collecting model planes, so really he has nothing to complain about, I think he would spend more on his planes then I would on scrapbooking, and really only shop when CHA hits the shores.

DH just took the afternoon off work actually to come home and look after me. I have a cold or something and have been in bed since lunch time, he came home from work to look after the 2 younger boys and myself, even had a cuddle in bed with me cause I was freezing. What ever it is has knocked me for 6!!
