What gets your goat??

Kids and 'helping themselves' LOL. About 12 years ago when my DD was 4, we'd just finished shopping in K-Mart. Jess was sitting in the trolley and we got back to the car. As I lifted her out, sitting in the trolley underneath her was a beautiful little pair of dress shoes...and amazingly just the right size for her! Boy, did she ever know how to pick them and where to hide them! We were a loooooooong way from the shops by then........LOL. I had to applaud her ingenuity and dexterity!

Something else that gets me so annoyed and frustrated is sitting on the phone.....on hold or in waiting queues for the phone company or electyricity ones....geez...it takes like an hour sometimes to get through to optus.....gggrrr

yep tina i got a letter the other day from child support saying if i didnt contact them they couldnt reassess my amount of payment... so i ring them and im on hold for 20 mins....grrrrr and the conversation lasted a whole 2 mins......

I hate it when the telemarketers ring at tea time!!! Or when you have just about got a kid down for their nap! And they wake them up and then they say "did we ring at a bad time?" Every time would be a bad time!!

yep telemarketers so such....i had one guy that rang every month for about 6 months about some stupid mobile phone deal that I was "lucky" to be able to recieve.... i kept telling him i wasn't interested and to stop calling me....so in the end asked to speak to his manager ...and told him to delete me off their system....haven't heard from them since....

I tell them I have to go find a pen and then just put the phone down and don't talk to them for half an hour. They are always gone by the time I bother to pick up the phone again!!

the cost of fuel dropping 5 cents in the space of a day, fueled up this morning, and this afternoon it was 5c cheaper!

Telemarketers - grrrrrrrrrrrrrr! I swear they're stalking me! We never used to get that many in Canberra but I'm getting about 4-6 a day sometimes now. It's become 'open season'. I think they 'on-sell' lists of names to other places and then everyone rings up. Guide Dogs (we support them a few times a year) have phoned at least 6 times in the past 2 weeks!!! (A nicer beach towel coming up....)

Good way to handle them Arby...although Jess here has some other ideas that I can't mention LOL. Sometimes, though, the line is so baaaaaad (cough) that I can't understand them and I'm forced to hang up! I could thank them for calling 'Luigi's Pizzas' I suppose and read out the menu!!!
